Located on a picturesque hill with enchanting panoramic sea view, Kailasagiri is really is the Queen among the tourist locations in Vizag. The park developed by VUDA covers exciting landscape gardens consisting rich flora and tropical trees. Situated at an altitude of 360 ft. It is one of the prominent landmarks of Vizag offers panoramic view of the City, Eastern Ghats, and the Bay Of Bengal. The divine view from the hilltop accompanies devotional overtones as the Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi sit ever so peacefully as if at the Manasa Sarovar in the great Himalayas.

Kailasagiri is a favorite location among the filmmakers all over India. Besides the eye-catching and holy statues of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi, the hilltop has many wonderful attractions like the Titanic viewpoint, floral clock, Shanku-Chakra Namas of Lord Venkateswara of Tirupati, Gliding point, delicious food courts and so on. The floral clock one of the biggest of India with a diameter of 10 ft. There is Shanti Ashram on the top of the hill, where one can earn lots of peace to their body and mind by spending time in meditation. You can take a ride up on the Ropeway, There is a toy train that runs on the hill and museums and observations decks will give you enough space to explore.
How to Reach There
Kailashgiri is one of the top tourist attraction of Vizag. There are buses running to the hill top and also you  you can take a bus to MVP Colony and then take the journey to the hill top on a rope way.ya leader Tama Dora, which was famous as "Koya Revoulation" in the Indian history.

Rope Way-Connecting the heights: An adding feather to the beauty of Kailasagiri, the Ropeway is the third route to the Kailasagiri hilltop. The enthralling air journey was formally inaugurated on 05-05-2004. The ropeway if the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh as well as in the entire coastal India. The visitors to Kailasagiri can have a 360-degree view from the fibre- glass cabins while traveling up and down the 375-meter ropeway.
The Ropeway while providing a panoramic view of the beach within limits from Dolphin's Nose to Appughar and an aerial view of the concrete jungle with splashes of greenery would be the forerunner for the hilltop Circular Train Project grounded by VUDA to provide a bird's eye view of the entire Visakhapatnam with its resplendent hill-valley-beach ambience.

Titanic View - A beautiful view point developed in the shape of a ship overlooking the Bay of Bengal. Titanic may have captured your hearts on celluloid but the real experience on this ship with a spectacular view of the sea will be sure delight you and also be a real treat to the eyes. This view point, a replica from the film 'Titanic' attracts many a romantic couple to savour those special moments.

Children Play Park---- With a vast playing arena for the tiny tots to play around, the park features all the modern amenities for the kids to play around and enjoy. Kids will go crazy from swinging to sliding on the slide bars. The other imported playing equipment are also a big hit with the kids.

Gliding Point---- Fly into the skies, above that vast blue sea and go for non-stop excitement. For those guys with an adventurous streak there is a gliding base point practice centre. Kailasagiri is a gliders paradise with excellent gliding facilities.Situated at an altitude of 130 mts., the gliding point provides ample opportunities to test the gliding skills of the gliders. Come and gear up for the adventure.

Floral Clock---Witness one of the biggest floral clocks of India, with a diameter of 10 ft. The floral clock gives an artistic impression on the lush green patches on the backdrop of the Shiva Parvathi statue. It stands as a land mark and attracting huge crowds.

View Points --- These beautiful and vantage viewpoints offer breath-taking sights of the vast blue sea and the lovely hills. A quiet place for those of you who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Come and feast your eyes on the natural beauty of this enchanting place.

Shiva Parvathi--- The major attraction of the park is Lord Shiva Parvathi statue. The local tale says that there was an ancient Shiva temple on the hill and it became popular as thousands of devotees started visiting the shrine regularly. So the hill was named after the deity. The idol of Lord Shiva a top the hill stands tall at a height of 40 ft. and the waterfall emanating from the statue is symbolic of the descent of the river Ganga. This is one of the famous landmarks of this hill top garden.

Food Courts--- The food courts are well designed architecturally. These are one of the many attractions on this hill top garden, All kinds of local dishes will be served here. Taste these delicacies and whet your appetite enjoying the multi-cuisine food
